Want to know something cool I re-discovered?

I had a LEGO® Telephone growing up.

I did not remember this but found it when I was looking through old pictures.
How crazy is that?

As I've been doing this experiment people say I must have really loved LEGO® blocks.
The truth? 

I'm not sure.
I don't think I was ever a huge LEGO® fan.
My nephew, a huge fan. 
​I mean, my bedroom never looked like this..

I liked LEGO® but as I said before, I liked the kits, which I got more of as an adult than a kid, and I pretty much made only houses or cars when free building.

But seeing The LEGO® Movie, realizing how uncreative I had been when I played with bricks, and hearing about how creative companies encourage their employees to play with bricks, inspired and led me into this 366 project.

It made me smile to re-discover that I had a LEGO® phone growing up. 
​
The LEGO® blocks must have been in my heart all along and I'm so happy they are getting to play. 

I also found a picture of me with watercolors and a picture of my grandfather reading the comics to me. I think this weekend I'm going to make some time for painting and make sure and get the Sunday comics and have a good laugh.

How can you express this this weekend and week?

A playful theme expressed itself in my creations this week.
A playground, a tire swing, a hammock, and painting emerged.
