Creativity and Meaningful Work

In SoulCollage® there are different categories you put your cards into once you have made them.

This card and the one I will show you next week, belong in my community section. This card is a picture of Brené Brown. On the background behind her are two people on swings, and one of them is swinging on his belly like a superhero while the other person looks on with their hands up covering their mouth, perhaps in concern or embarrassment. There is a zentangled gourd image in the foreground of the card.
SoulCollage® cards are for personal use and SoulCollage® does not advocate infringing on the copyrighted work of others in any way so that is why my card cannot be shared here.
Seena Frost describes the images of the cards of the community in this way in her book SoulCollage®: “The images depict those external sentient beings whose energy is powerful and meaningful in your life, beings from both the past and present.”

Brené Brown is definitely one of those beings for me.

I joke that she literally brought color into my work, but pictures don’t lie and here is a before and after my Daring Way™ Facilitator training of an area of my work office:

Before being transformed by the work of Brené Brown, I honestly didn’t want to Dare Greatly™.

I told myself stories that it was safer to stay small and play it safe, that I couldn’t handle all that went with dreaming big.

And the truth is, without having applied her work to my life, that’s probably true as I was definitely holding onto what other people thought, fear, certainty, anxiety, and more.

I am so thankful to have found meaningful work that I love to share and do in my life.

This card reminds me to believe in myself and that I am not alone.

It encourages me to fly and not care what others think or are doing.

To be myself.

To paint my own colors and designs on my canvas of life.

I hope you will come and allow yourself the opportunity to be transformed by the work of Brené Brown this Tuesday as we cultivate meaningful work and let go of doubt and ‘supposed to.’ www.leeannhilbrich.com/wholehearted
*Please note, I am NOT a SoulCollage® Faciliator (as of July 2020 I am). I am just applying information for my personal use from a program and Seena B. Frost’s book, SoulCollage® Evolving.
