What will we be doing and how does Equine-Facilitated Learning work?
In addition to having time to connect with each other and recharge in nature (which may include Tea Ceremony, Qi Gong, and other nature-related activities), we will have an Equine-Facilitated Learning Experience. There will not be any riding, just an opportunity to connect on the ground with the equines, and if you decide you do not want to go into the equine area you can still participate from outside the arena.
"Horses live in the present moment and bring themselves into relationship authentically. Horses are highly attuned to human emotions and challenge us to stay congruent with our feelings when relating with them. In return, they offer us non-judgmental and honest feedback, and teach us to be more aware of the connections between our mind, body, and emotions through our breath and body sensations. This allows us the opportunity to make contact with ourselves and our environment and relate to others in a different way."

•Check the weather before coming and plan to bring items needed such as sunscreen, sunhat, insect repellant, raincoat, galoshes, or a winter hat and gloves.
•Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in for any physical activities such as Qi Gong that may be used for grounding and/or container-building activities.
•When registering please include a note if you have any allergies or food preferences.
