“To brave the wilderness and become the wilderness
we must learn how to trust ourselves and trust others.”
-Brené Brown, Braving the Wilderness
Braving and Belonging Retreat
Next offering date TBA
Inspired by Brené Brown's book, Braving the Wilderness, this retreat will be an experience in practices of true belonging. As Brené says, "True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are." Many of the concepts we'll be diving into are also found in Brené's past works of The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, and Rising Strong: trust, authenticity, reckoning with emotion, curiosity and courage, living BIG, vulnerability, and unarmoring our hearts.
During the retreat we will use creative exercises, Equine Facilitated Learning, SoulCollage®, the movements of nature (Qi Gong), and more, to embrace both braving and belonging.
8 hours of continuing education are provided upon request.
